What Player Information Is Public in Clean Backgammon?
Key Takeaways
  • Opponents only see your chosen nickname, avatar, national flag, and ELO rating.
  • Your match statistics (points won/lost, win rate) are visible on your in-game player card.
  • No real names, email addresses, or phone numbers are ever linked or made public.
  • You can opt out of website leaderboard display directly in the Privacy tab.

What Opponents See in Online Matches

When you enter an online match or appear in the matchmaking lobby, matched opponents can only see the information you explicitly configure in your profile:

• Your chosen Nickname (e.g., "Arabella", "JEAN").

• Your equipped Avatar portrait from the 90 available skins.

• Your national Country Flag (which determines your team in the Country Cup).

• Your current competitive ELO rating (e.g., 1220 ELO).

What Is Visible on the Public Leaderboards

On both the in-app Ranking & Stats modal and the official website at cleanbackgammon.com/leaderboards, top players are showcased with their rank number, avatar, nickname, country, and ELO score.

If you achieve a top rank in your country, your score also contributes to your nation’s standing in the international Country Cup championship.
